समय ने जब बदला चक्र
नए साल ने ली अंगडाई तब
धुला-धुला, कोरा-कोरा
जैसे चहका एक मासूम भौवारा!

नए दशक की नयी दिशाये
मुश्किलें को खीच ले आई
नया वर्ष, नयी तमन्नाएं
बाहें फैलाये खड़ी आस बिछाए!

क्या देख पाएंगी एक सुकुमारी
घूँघट के बाहर का आसमान?
इन्साफ का रास्ता क्या देख पायेगा
हर बाग़ का बागबान!



शिक्षा का नहीं कोई सानी
कौन सिखा पायेगा वो अभिमानी
जिसने कभी ना हार मानी
जो कर देगा अमृत को भी पानी!

राजनीती की खोखली जड़ो में
कौन डालेगा नए विचारो की खाद
वो जो खो गया है एक विश्वास
लौटा पायेगा कौन खास!

बदती महंगाई की रफ़्तार को
रोज़ बदलती सरकार को
कौन संभालेगा
भ्रस्टाचार के फैलाव को!

पर्यावरण पर धयान नहीं दिया जो
प्रकृति से सम्बन्ध जोड़ा नहीं जो
प्रकोप और भी गहरा सहना पड़ेगा
घुट में ज़हर और भी पीना पड़ेगा!

नया दशक, नयी समस्याए
चलो मिल के कदम बढ़ाये
ढूंढे नयी दिशाये
जो कर देंगी आसान राहें!

Samay ne jab badla chakra
Naye saal ne li angdayi tab
Dhula-dhula, kora-kora
Jaise chahka ek masoom bhauwara

Naye dashak ki nayi dishayein
Mushkile ko khich le aayi
Naya varsh, nayi tamannayein
Baahein phailaye khadi aas bichayye!

Kya dekh payengi ek sukumari
Ghunghat ke bahar ka aasman?
Insaaf ka rasta kya dekh payega
Har baag ka baaghban!

Shiksha ka nahi koi sani
Kaun sikha payega woh abhimani

Jo kar dega amrit ko bhi paani!

Rajniti ki khokhli jado mein
Kon dalega naye vicharo ki khaad
Woh jo kho gaya hai ek vishwas
Louta payega kaun khas!

Badti mehngai ki rafter ko
Roz badalti sarkar ko
Kon sambhalega
Bhrasthachar ke phailav ko!

Paryavaran par dhayan nahi diya jo
Prakriti se sambandh joda nahi jo
Prakop aur bhi gehra sehna padega
Zaher ghoot ka aur bhi pina padega!

Naya dashak, nayi samasyaien
Chalo mil ke kadam bhadayein
Dhundhe nayi dishayein
Jo kar dengi aasan raahein!

देखो एक राज नेता मर गया
पीछे कितनो को रोता छोड़ गया
लगे सब हिसाब लगाने
क्या रही उसके जीवन की पूंजी

कैसे बना वो इतना महान नेता
नेता ही था ना, ना की कोई अभिनेता
कोन संभालेगा अब पतवार
अब निकलेंगी मायनों से तलवार

Separation, Will I Gain Something?

Separation is pain, suffering and failure
As it is a blot on integration, tradition and culture
Who gained from this so far?
And who will gain this time?

History evidences the outcomes of separation
No development, no opportunities, no enlightenment
Because administrators are too busy in their upliftment
Masses suffer and leader rejoice
After all, it is their choice.

Development means equal opportunity for all
Free from old beliefs and rituals
Independence of thoughts and freedom of choice
Not a single drop of tear in every eye.

Will you ensure that?
Employment for all
Businesses boom and better living standard without fail
Corruption not for sale
Happiness not pale
Terrorists not on bail
Free education for children and female
Proper food and no one falls ill
Transportation runs smooth and no delay in timings of rail
Communication reaches everywhere in wholesale
Women not in veil
No police to watch on morale
Clean air that can be inhaled
Clear sound of children gale

Heavy Rains, Life Disrupts: What the Government is Doing?

Who kehte hai na…bhagwan jab deta hai toh chappar fad ke deta…Well! It rained heavily in Delhi day before yesterday. It rained cats and dogs throughout the entire evening. Thank god, we all are relieved of the heat finally! But, we also have suffered long traffic jams and water logging due to record overnight rains in many parts of the city. The situation was so bad that traffic was literally crawling and several busy intersections and roads were facing chaotic traffic jams. The first widespread monsoon rains have made the life cripple and helpless.

Delhi, the capital of the country, succumbed to rains. Everywhere jams and water logging. Are we a metropolitan city with almost every possible signs of development i.e. super metro connectivity that betrayed twice this month killing innocents workers who know nothing about designing faults. Sheila Dikshit, who is ruling the Delhi government for continuously third term, took a brave effort to come out and say this problem is so trivial. People should be careful enough to make their plans and schedule beforehand. Hmmmm…I just wonder, the CM ever thought twice before uttering this statement. Is she duped us by taking all our unconditional trust just to get her exact numbers to register a historic third term win?

Monsoon has just started here in Delhi. Dunno, when Delhiites have to face another rainy catastrophe once again…a free advice for all, since the government has taken back its support, start carrying all your water-proof package with you. You never know when you would have to face endless cries of the sky.t
